A new work written for Brass Band, Wind Band or Orchestra and will only be available digitally at this time and for a limited time there is NO MINIMUM DONATION.
Hymn to the Angels
is a short reflective work written during the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite the
connotations of the words “hymn” and “angels”, the work has no words and was never intended
to be religious. The work is dedicated to all NHS staff, emergency services and everyone else
who keep us safe, not only during these unsettling times, but always.
Each of the score samples (below) contains a page detailing the instrumentation. The audio samples were created using Sibelius and NotePerformer 3 - I have tried to make them sound as realistic as possible
All profits will be donated to the NHS Charities Together. If you ONLY wish to donate, you can do this via my JustGiving fundraising page.
If you wish to order a score and a set of parts there are 2 ways in which you can do this for your ensemble:
OPTION 1 (my preferred option):
Go to my JustGiving fundraising page
and make a donation of ANY AMOUNT. You will receive a receipt, by email, from JustGiving. Either forward this email, or send a screenshot of it to info@karlwhelan.co.uk. Please make sure to give your name/ensemble name plus which version you require in the body of the email (somewhere I can see it).
OPTION 2:
Just click on the 'Buy Now' button for the version you require and you will be taken through PayPal - enter ANY AMOUNT
in the "Price per item" box and continue. I will then transfer the money to my JustGiving fundraising page. The payment will show in your account as 'PAYPAL *TATTONMUSI'.
The reason this isn't my preferred option is because PayPal will deduct a small fee from each sale. As an example an amount of £10, will have approximately 60 pence deducted.
DELIVERY:
The score and parts for the version you have requested will be sent to you by email as a compressed (zip) folder. There will also be a dropbox link to the version you have purchased. I aim to deal with orders as soon as possible, but please allow up to 24 hours before contacting me. In the meantime, please ensure whatever mail app you use doesn't send emails from info@karlwhelan.co.uk
to your junk folder.
